CHAIRMAN MESSAGE

Mr.V.P.Radhakrishnan, M.A., MBA., a dynamic entrepreneur and philanthropist, is the founder of Sri Bharathi Women's Arts and Science College. Besides promoting excellence through educational institutions he is renowned for his wide-ranging social activities. He adorned the post of Chairman of Ami Municipality. He is the achiever of the awarded by the Government of India.

His College achieved 5 Gold Medals at One Stroke in the Thiruvalluvar University Exam 2015, totalling 25 Gold Medals and 160 University Ranks sending out 11 batches of students.

He is a Visionary and his zeal is to emancipate the women from the clutches of a chauvinistic society, sharing the view of the great poet - revolutionist Maha Kavi Bharathiyar.

ARNI - THE HISTORICAL TOWN

Arni is a town of historical importance which is located on the banks of Kamandala naga river. The Serenity and quietude of the place seems to answer many questions that the mother nature has. The town is located 35km from Vellore and 60km from Thiruvannamalai. The town has played a vital role in the freedom struggle of the nation. Arni is commercially a popular town having a large community of silk weavers. A bulk of silk apparels is manufactured and exported to other countries too.

The remnants of Chola rule stand as an Archaeological marvel. The town is surrounded by a galaxy of temples including the famous Padaiveedu shrine, Sri Renugambal Temple, Sri Puthra Kamteeswara temple, besides the 500 years old Vishwa Nathaneswarar Visalakshi temple. A famous jain temple is also situated near Arni.

Jain caves, structural temples and a monolithic image of Neminath stand not only as tourist marvel but also as an ambassador of our Country's Architectural acumen.
